My personal spiritual journey

Hello and welcome.

I’m Rosita Christiaanse, born in 1963 in Holland—though I often say my heart is Irish. I moved to Ireland in 2000, and in 2020, after many fulfilling years, Rob (my husband since 1985—yes, that long!) and I retired to Hungary. Now we’re living the dream on our peaceful little farm, surrounded by nature,
with five rescue dogs
and two cats who
definitely keep life interesting.

My spiritual journey began early—at just four years old, I had my first unexplained experience. To this day, that moment remains crystal clear in my memory. It opened a lifelong fascination with the unseen, the mysterious, and what we now call spiritual or paranormal.

As a teenager, I started “playing” with cards, doing readings for friends and anyone curious enough to ask. It wasn’t until I hit thirty that I began working professionally, but the interest had been there all along. I’ve always been drawn to understanding what lies beneath the surface of the everyday.

At twelve, I started reading everything I could find on ghosts, hauntings, possession, dissociative identity disorder, and all things unexplained. My parents—who weren’t religious or spiritual in any way—were absolutely baffled. They thought I was far too young for those topics. But the calling was strong, and I followed it.

Over the years, I’ve gone far beyond books.

I’ve walked into abandoned buildings, visited famously haunted locations, and been invited into homes to investigate spiritual activity and clear them. I’ve done energetic cleansings for both people and places, and had many unforgettable—and occasionally intense—spiritual encounters along the way. While some experiences were beautiful and deeply moving, others were downright scary. But each one added another layer to my understanding and spiritual resilience.

For a long time, I also collected a large library of fascinating EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomena) recordings—sadly lost in a computer crash, but never forgotten.

My connection with Spirit continues to this day, and although I don’t work as a professional medium, I still
communicate with
Spirit when guided.

I also work actively
every day with my Angels,
who are my
constant companions
and greatest teachers.

So no... this isn’t just theory for me. This is lived experience.

I’m not a spiritual desk jockey stacking up certificates.

I’ve been in the field, faced real energies, and learned through doing.

Today, I’m a professional card reader, certified Angel Therapist, Reiki Master and Teacher in the original Usui lineage, and a Spiritual Coach. I’ve studied mediumship at the renowned Arthur Findlay Spiritual College in England and have been a speaker at various spiritual events—including the Annual Ghost Convention in Cork, which was a real highlight.

I’ve led many workshops on Angel Cards, Reiki, and intuitive development, and I’ve also worked as a Communication Coach in more mainstream settings.

One thing became beautifully clear—whether I was working in my everyday job or guiding others on their spiritual path—I’ve always been a teacher at heart.

Over the years, I’ve been told time and again, in both professional and spiritual spaces, that I have a natural way of making complex ideas feel simple and personal. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all answers.

I take the time to listen, to tune in to how someone thinks or learns, and then find the words or approach that truly resonate with them.

It’s something I deeply value—meeting people where they are, and helping them feel seen, understood, and empowered.

Teaching, for me, isn’t just about sharing knowledge. It’s about opening doors, building confidence, and reminding others of the wisdom they already carry inside.

I love teaching, because it’s not about me. It’s about you—your growth, and your unfolding journey.

Especially when it comes to introducing people to the wonders of the spiritual world and helping them find tools to support their own path.

Since moving to Hungary, I’ve missed the face-to-face connection of workshops. A friend suggested I take everything I’ve gathered and shared over the years and bring it online—so that’s exactly what I’m working on.
